Orlando Sports Foundation and AutoNation Present $1.15 Million to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at the 2016 AutoNation Cure Bowl

LONGWOOD, Fla., December 17, 2016 – The Orlando Sports Foundation (OSF) and AutoNation presented a check for $1.15 million to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) at the 2016 AutoNation Cure Bowl held at the new Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. “BCRF’s work to advance breast cancer research is both relentless and tireless,” says Lagos, president of Insurance Office of America. “We’re proud to support this worthy cause and to be part of the hard-working team that will one day gain the most important win—a cure.”

The AutoNation Cure Bowl, presented by Florida Hospital, is a nationally televised game played at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, and its focus is to bring teams together to find a cure for cancer. The Cure Bowl directly benefits BCRF, the nations’ highest-rated breast cancer organization with an A+ rating from Charity Watch and four out of four stars from Charity Navigator.

The Orlando Sports Foundation Inc. (OSF) was founded in May 2008 and is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for organizations working to find a cure for cancer. OSF annually supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through the AutoNation Cure Bowl, presented by Florida Hospital, an annual NCAA college football bowl game played in December at Camping World Stadium, formerly the Orlando Citrus Bowl, and televised nationwide on CBS Sports Network.
