Insurance Office of America Adds Equine Insurance Expert John Patrick Unick to Its Team

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., February 14, 2017 – Insurance veteran John Patrick Unick has joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) as a senior vice president and managing director of equine and self-insured risks. Before joining IOA, he served as an executive vice president and managing director at Bolton & Company and president of the thoroughbred racing division at MOC Insurance Services.

Unick brings a wealth of experience to IOA and has been recognized as the foremost expert in the equine and horse racing insurance space for nearly two decades. Over the course of his career, he has provided insurance services to nearly every racetrack in the United States and to some of the world’s most important races, including the Triple Crown and the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. Unick participates on numerous horse racing industry panels and has been quoted in prominent media outlets, including USA TodayLos Angeles TimesInsurance Journal, and Blood-Horse.
