Producer Sponsorship/Special Events

We are pleased to see that our producers support the community and Insurance Office of America through sponsorship of different events. However, our liability carrier does not extend coverage for these various activities, so it is paramount that we make sure the appropriate insurance coverage and signed agreements are in place. Therefore, it is required to complete and submit the form below no less than 30 days prior to the commencement date so we can determine the extent of insurance required. Please note that the IOA legal department must first review and approve the submission prior to the event proceeding.

It is acceptable if insurance for the event is placed by those coordinating the event and IOA is protected accordingly, both contractually and through the insurance coverage itself. Additional insureds with a primary and non-contributory provision and a waiver of subrogation must be confirmed through receipt of a COI. However, if you are responsible for procuring the insurance, IOA requires that you provide evidence that the appropriate special event insurance has been obtained. We want to make sure that IOA and its Family of Companies are adequately protected.
