Insurance Office of America Appoints Chris Labrecque to Board of Directors

labrecque.chris 2012 low resOrlando, Fla. (May 21, 2015) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) announced the appointment of Chris Labrecque to its board of directors. He joins eleven other sitting IOA board members.

“I’m thrilled to join the leadership group at IOA,” says Labrecque. “The future poses some very exciting possibilities, and I couldn’t be more pleased to be part of this innovative team as we map out the future.”

Labrecque is president of the employee benefits division of IOA. Prior to his current role, he served as managing partner of the employee benefits division and vice president of the IOA Northeast benefits division. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and benefits industry and was previously an owner of Norwood Life Associates in Long Branch, New Jersey.  He also holds the professional designation of certified insurance counselor (CIC).

Labrecque also serves on the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) Council of Employee Benefits Executives as an advisory board member. The advisory board represents the benefits business interests of The Council’s member firms and guides its benefits initiatives, including targeted advocacy efforts and market intelligence.
