Insurance Office of America Announces Appointment of Cruse to Regional President for Northeast and Carolinas

LONGWOOD, Fla. (September 11, 2023) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Cruse to the role of regional president in the Eastern Division. Andrew’s region encompasses the Northeast and the Carolinas.

“I have had the honor to work directly with Andrew over the last six years and know firsthand that he is a rising star and a trusted partner that acts in the best interests of IOA, his fellow partners, and his clients. He is a contributor and at the same time an excellent producer,” said IOA President Rob Motley. ”As Andrew steps into the well-deserved role of regional president in the Eastern Division, he is the kind of fabric we want to build our leaders from that makes up the uniquely successful IOA culture.”

Andrew joined IOA in 2017 and served most recently as a managing partner in South Carolina. After five years as a professional baseball player, he joined a new team by starting his insurance career with an insurance carrier and then working with a global brokerage earning many leadership and performance awards over his tenure.

“It’s been over a decade, and I’m more thrilled than ever to serve my IOA team members and my clients in this great industry where we help people protect their dreams,” said Andrew.  “I’m excited to jump into the regional president position and continue this journey by providing leadership, support, and service to a region that is close to my heart.”

Andrew was recognized as a Risk & Insurance 2021 Power Broker Rising Star in the transportation sector. Risk & Insurance celebrates these rising stars for their achievements and for their emerging role as leaders of the commercial insurance industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of South Carolina.
