Heather Sodon

Heather Sodon joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in 2021 as an employee benefits consultant. She has more than two decades of experience integrating and introducing benefit packages to companies of all sizes and across multiple industries. Her expertise ranges from working with business owners as they start their company to assisting CFO’s with a unionized labor force.

During her time in the insurance industry, Heather has worked in several roles in the insurance business, from account management to a producer for ancillary benefits. She has worked with all the major national carriers for both medical and ancillary plans, giving her extensive understanding of employment trends and best practices to better prepare her clients for the future as the Affordable Care Act continuously changes.  Her vast array of job experiences give her the proficiency to create appropriate benefit packages to meet employee’s ever-changing needs.

Outside of her normal role, Heather is committed to community service, acting as Region Six President for NYS Women Inc. She also volunteers her time at events with the United Way and the Chamber of Commerce.
