Evan Rodwell, CPA

Evan Rodwell joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) as a dedicated surety producer. He has an extensive background in both the surety and accounting fields. Throughout his career, Evan has placed a premium on the value of strong partnerships. His goal is to partner with his clients to help them grow their companies in a safe and profitable manner. Evan maintains a vast network of industry partners, such as bankers, CPAs, attorneys, and bonding companies, that specialize in the construction and surety industries.

Prior to joining IOA, Evan was the surety underwriter of the North Carolina and South Carolina regions for one of the largest surety companies in the U.S. In this role, Evan worked with construction companies of all sizes to help them grow their surety bond program and effectively manage risk. Before entering the surety industry, Evan was a risk management consultant for one of the largest accounting firms in the world, specializing in accounting services for medium to large-sized construction companies and financial institutions.

Evan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Carolina. He holds both the certified public accountant (CPA) and associate in fidelity & surety bonding (AFSB) designations.

Evan is an active member of various industry associations, including serving as Vice President of the South Carolina Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association. He also is on the board of directors for the Carolinas Surety Association, serves on the legislative committee of the Association of General Contractors, and participates with the Associated Builders and Contract Association.
