Insurance Office of America Announces Appointment of Employee Benefits Managing Partners

LONGWOOD, Fla. (May 11, 2023) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Leonard, Necole Grevers, and Spencer Allen to the role of managing partner in its Employee Benefits Services Division.

“The importance of experienced employee benefits professionals in today’s market is evident, and I’m excited to elevate these three incredible team members to the role of managing partner,” said IOA CEO Jeff Lagos. “Amy, Necole, and Spencer are not only a pleasure to work with, but they also bring to our clients the kind of care and expertise needed when dealing with the personal nature of benefits plans. Amy will serve as national managing partner for employee benefits, a newly created position at IOA. She joined IOA in 2004 and has over two decades of experience in the employee benefits industry. Working with nationwide employers, Amy has gained a strong knowledge of employment trends and best practices to help clients develop health management strategies that balance the requirements of the Affordable Care Act and other legislation while meeting multigenerational and diverse workforce needs. She holds the certified healthcare reform specialist (CHRS) and certified pharmacy benefits specialist (CPBS) designations.

Necole will serve as a managing partner in Florida, joining colleagues Matt Williamson and Dan Ricker. She joined IOA in 2013 and has more than 20 years of business experience. Working with fully insured and self-insured contracts for accounts of all sizes and industries, Necole helps clients with contract and financial analysis, managing day-to-day service initiatives, introducing new resources, advising on industry trends, and proactively maintaining compliance standards. She holds the certified healthcare reform specialist (CHRS) and certified pharmacy benefits specialist (CPBS) designations.

Spencer will serve as managing partner for the Southeast region. He joined IOA in 2015 and is an industry veteran with over 35 years’ experience helping large privately held and small publicly held companies navigate the employee benefits landscape. Spencer focuses on creating progressive healthcare strategies and risk management techniques that lower costs, engage members, and improve the health and productivity of employees. He holds the certified pharmacy benefits specialist (CPBS) designation.
