About Paul

Paul Sullivan joined Insurance Office of America in May 2009 and currently serves as its first-ever chief growth officer (CGO).

Paul was appointed to the IOA Board of Directors in 2023 and previously served as Northwest regional president and division president for the Western division. He played an essential part in the rapid growth of IOA’s western region, increasing revenue, producer staff, and locations. He was responsible for partner relations, sales development, and broker recruitment, providing proactive risk and insurance services for a diverse group of clients in the U.S. and globally.

Today, as CGO, Paul is responsible for developing and driving organic growth initiatives across IOA that are aimed squarely at discovering, creating, and unleashing new business growth and client retention opportunities for the company. The scope of his efforts include a strategic focus on how the company designs, integrates, and implements its client-facing offerings and producer sales enablement tools and resources to generate increased sales velocity and capture new market share.

Paul earned his Master of Business Administration degree from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
