Insurance Office of America Opens New Florida Location in Bonita Springs

LONGWOOD, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2019) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to announce that it has expanded to open a new office in Bonita Springs, Florida. The new branch, which is located at 24311 Walden Center Drive, Suite 101, in the Walden Center, serves to support and strengthen IOA’s growing southwest Florida presence.

“As one of very few privately held and truly independent agencies in the U.S., we’re excited to continue to grow and focus on serving our customers first. We’ve put together a dynamic team of experts in this new office who are poised to take care of the unique risk management and insurance needs of this southwest Florida community,” said IOA Chairman and CEO Heath Ritenour.

The decision to open the new location was made due to the growing depth of talent in the region, including Christopher Claypool, Charity Moser, Ron Martel, and Shanna Olsovksy.

“We’re thrilled to open a new IOA branch office in Bonita Springs. But even more thrilling is the expert team we’ve assembled. Their combined experience is impressive and how they take care of their customers is unmatched,” said Regional President Danny Anderson.

Christopher Claypool has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry specializing in risk management programs for contractors, commercial properties, condominium associations, and the hospitality industry. Charity A. Moser is a licensed Florida property and casualty and health agent with a specialty in surety. Before joining IOA, Charity worked with Arthur J. Gallagher as a producer and area vice president managing both its surety and construction divisions. Prior to Gallagher, she held the position of senior risk manager for WCI Communities, a publicly traded real estate developer, where she was responsible for the risk management, loss prevention, claims, and surety departments. She is a frequent speaker and educator on the topics of managing construction risks and OCIP/CCIPs as well as a wide variety of surety topics.

Ron Martel has over a decade of experience and specializes in the construction and manufacturing industries. His areas of expertise include commercial auto, general liability, umbrella, and workers compensation. Prior to IOA, Ron worked as a commercial lines executive with Bouchard Insurance and Brown & Brown Insurance.

Shanna N. Olsovsky is a commercial risk advisor with over 15 years of experience handling all lines of property and casualty insurance, specializing in coverage for commercial property, construction real estate development, and trade contractors as well as personal lines coverage for high net worth individuals and families.
