Insurance Office of America Appoints Regional Presidents to Complement Growth

LONGWOOD, Fla. (March 1, 2022) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to announce the appointment of six regional presidents to its leadership team. Each of the appointees has achieved a high level of knowledge, management expertise, and service not only within IOA but also in the insurance industry. The appointees to regional president include:

  • Nathan Brainard – Central Florida Region
  • Michael Caffrey – Georgia Region
  • Michael Coleman – Northeast Region
  • Michael Hasner – South Florida Region
  • Ricky Lott – Central Region
  • Paul Sullivan – Northwest Region

“The appointment of these respected professionals to regional president is a testimony to the hard work and excellence they provide their clients and the teams they serve with daily,” said IOA Chairman and CEO Heath Ritenour. “Having worked with them individually over the years, I could not be prouder of their achievements. They are servant leaders who will lead their respective regions well.”

IOA’s sales leadership consists of active producers, which is not typical in the industry. This unique structure allows the organization to foster better carrier and partner engagement while focusing on strong client relationships. The six regional president appointments, coupled with the recent addition of division presidents, represent an expansion that is designed to further support the company’s long-term strategic goals.

“Elevating strong leaders is a privilege, and this group of professionals truly deserves this recognition,” said IOA President Jeff Lagos. “It’s gratifying to see their growth and to work with them on a deeper level as we seek to achieve our goal, which is to focus on our clients’ risk management needs so they can focus on their dreams.”

Regional presidents are an important part of IOA’s overall organizational objective, which seeks to support a burgeoning sales team while strengthening carrier and partner engagement. Divisions and regions are balanced by size and structure in a way that allows IOA to be nimble as it grows. The regional presidents work alongside division presidents, managing partners, and operations leaders to ensure efficient and transparent communications as well as seek opportunities to elevate team members to superior roles as IOA continues its consistent growth trajectory.
