Jeffrey Mann

Managing Director, Public Entity Specialty Group

Jeffrey Mann is Managing Director and head of the Orange County California-based Public Entity Specialty Group (PESG) of IOA Insurance Services (IOA), a unit of Florida-based Insurance Office of America.

Jeff started his brokerage career in 1981 at Marsh in Hartford, CT and later worked in the firm’s Pittsburgh and Los Angeles offices, where he held senior client management positions. In the mid-90’s Jeff ran the Aerospace Industry Practice of Aon Risk Services from a base Washington, DC.

In 1998, Jeff joined Alliant Insurance Services in Newport Beach, CA, marking the beginning of a continuous period where he has focused exclusively on public sector business. Jeff left Alliant in 2003 to establish a public entity specialty practice at Redwood City-based ABD Insurance and Financial Services (ABD). After ABD was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2007, Jeff was named national executive sponsor for Wells Fargo Insurance Services’ public entity business segment.

Fulfilling a long-held goal of finding a true partnership position in an emerging national brokerage, Jeff joined IOA in January of 2010. As a partner in the IOA enterprise, Jeff’s accumulated knowledge and industry experience, coupled with a newfound level of control in all aspects and matters pertaining to client service, make him a uniquely valuable intermediary and advisory resource for any large public agency.

A graduate of St. Lawrence University and a former Marine officer, Jeff earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1981.
