Matt Keyser graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2001 and began his career as a Project Engineer with Jacobs Facilities (Arlington, Virginia). From 2003 until 2004, Matt was a Project Manager for SUNY Geneseo, overseeing school renovation and new construction projects. After leaving SUNY Geneseo in 2004, Matt was a Project Manager at LECESSE Construction until 2009, where he was in charge of projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million. From 2009 until 2012, Matt was a Project Manager from The Pike Company, and oversaw projects ranging from $10 million to $45 million. Matt started at Robert J. Hanafin, Inc. in 2012 and currently serves as Account Executive, in the Syracuse office.

Having worked as a General Contractor, Construction Manager, and Owners’ Representative, Matt has direct experience in several areas of the construction industry, which enables him to offer firsthand knowledge and approaches to his clients. Combining Matt’s understanding of the construction industry with his comprehension of insurance markets help make him a significant addition to any contractor or owners’ risk management team.
