Track Insurance Program from Insurance Office of America

(For Fireball Run participants only)
Did you know that your personal auto insurance policy will not cover damage to your vehicle while on a racetrack, or racing at all for that matter? It doesn’t, period. This leaves you wide open if anything should happen to your vehicle.
The Fireball Run, a transcontinental rally and philanthropic awareness event like no other, combines several amazing venues, including two track days during which you are free to open it up. Rest assured that IOA, your title sponsor, has provided a way for you to have a great adventure and be protected at the same time.
We have developed an exclusive Track Insurance Program that will cover your vehicle if it is damaged while on the track.
Here are the specifics:
- Coverage: Covers your vehicle for parts and general cost of labor, including engine and transmission for the value of your vehicle, up to $100,000, subject to a 10% deductible.
- Cost: 1.28% of the value of your vehicle, plus a $50 setup fee.
- Example: A vehicle valued at $50,000 would cost the driver $640, plus the $50 setup fee. In turn, his/her vehicle is covered for $50,000 should anything happen on the track.
It’s easy to sign up, provide Joel Morris (through email or mail) the following information:
- Driver/Owner: Name and driver’s license number of the vehicle owner.
- Vehicle: Automobile information, including year, make, model, VIN (vehicle identification number) and value of vehicle (replacement/insured value).
- Payment: Confirm that you want this coverage and mail check, made payable to Insurance Office of America.
We will bind coverage and provide you with the certificate of insurance at Driver Check-In. The cutoff date to submit your information and payment is Thursday, September 27th. It’s as easy as that. Don’t lose your assets out there!
