IOA Aerospace Program Claim Information
IOA’s Aerospace Division will stand by you and assist you with your claims needs. This includes filing a claim with your insurance company, monitoring the claims process and providing assistance to make sure your claim is settled timely and fairly.
IOA is one of the few agencies that has claims professionals on staff. These professionals are available to you as needed.
What Should You do in the Event of a Claim?
- Contact your Insurance Company. Please do not start any repair work on your aircraft or any of the damaged property before you have communicated with your insurance company.
- Call the Aerospace Division at IOA, our job is to protect your interest throughout the claims process.
- Make sure you thoroughly read your policy and understand your responsibilities in the event of a claim. Make sure that you document the process.
- Notify the FAA, NTSB, police and local fire departments as necessary. This web link to the NTSB provides you with procedures in the event of a claim.
